Conceived as an affordable “back to the future” project, these seven small detached single-family homes average just 1,300 square feet each, clustered on 2,000 square foot lots. The El Cajon Community Corporation sponsored this pilot project of craftsman and colonial styled cottages, each with front porches, balconies, and single carports. Homes include two or three bedrooms with two and a half bathrooms as well as living and dining rooms, and kitchens complete with walk-in pantries.
