Kurt Hunker AIA, NCARB
Kurt has worked with Davy Architecture since 1994 on a number of educational and civic projects for both public and private clients. Kurt has a wide range of experience on varied projects of significant scope, having worked with notable architectural firms across the country as well as in San Diego, as a designer and project architect. His work has been published in periodicals such as Architecture and Texas Architect and recognized by award committees in Ohio, Texas and California.
Kurt is a Professor at the Newschool of Architecture & Design in San Diego, just a block from our office. He has taught architectural design, theory and criticism at the Newschool since 1989 and is currently serving as Chair of the Graduate Program. Unlike many other professions, the best and brightest in our profession can and do teach.

Kurt studied at Oxford University, England, and earned his Masters of Architecture from Harvard University's Graduate School of Design in 1982.
