Pine Valley, CA

Davy Architecture is supporting the Mountain Empire Unified School District with a whole site modernization that will be completed in three phases over the coming years. Our aim is to develop a school identity while simultaneously enhancing security, completing long-deferred maintenance, and create community spaces, both indoor and outdoor, for the students and staff using durable, cost-sensitive, and energy-efficient materials and design.

Phase One will focus on two permanent high school buildings, addressing site issues at the front of the building, courtyard ADA; and the repair or replacement of the bus parking lot. Phase Two will focus on the construction of a new modular science building and the repair and relocation of existing portable buildings. Phase Three will consist of repurposing the existing District Headquarters for a consolidated Middle School and the relocation of district staff onto the Pine Valley campus. The repair and modernization at Pine Valley will also be a part of Phase Three.
