El Cajon Harley Davidson

2008
El Cajon - CA

This project involved a phased replacement of the existing 6,000 square foot Harley Davidson Dealership in El Cajon, CA with a new 20,000 square foot facility. The building was constructed in two phases so that the business could stay in continuous operation throughout the new construction.

The new dealership has two showrooms for motorcycle, apparel and accessory display as well as a service shop, parts storage, and administrative offices. Inspired by the original old brick Harley Davidson factory in Milwaukee, WI, the industrial aesthetic includes the use of brick and metal cladding as well as exposed structural trusses and mechanical equipment, as well as stained concrete floors.
